The time switch accepts 120 VAC input and its SPDT (single-pole double-throw) output contacts can activate a 20 amp load or a 3/4 hp motor. The enclosure of this timer is made of a Noryl plastic alloy that meets NEMA-3R standards for water resistance and has a lockable hasp, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It can be mounted on an external surface.
